Win a FREE seat in our New Watercolor Workshop! 🎨

Hey guys! Nichole and Frannie over here, owners of the P+P.

Thank you for those who have still been shopping at our store despite the closing of our surrounding neighbors. We appreciate your business SO SO SO much and really can’t express our gratitude for those of you who have chosen our locally owned shop over big box retailers and online.

Our goal moving forward is to listen more to how we can continue to serve you better and give you what you want. We will be releasing a series of surveys that will give you a chance to tell us directly what you are loving and what we can work on. Our first focus is on WORKSHOPS- since we know how much our customers love learning new things and our loyal, serial-workshop-takers are craving some new choices.

We are so excited to welcome new instructor: Kara McCutchen of Idaho Adventures Art who will teaching her wonderful watercolor beginner class- we took it, and it’s good stuff guys.

We will choose winners on March 5th

Local Artist Event : Lisa Caillet-Bois

Join us Thursday, December 8th, 6:00 at Paperie + Pen for wine-tasting, hor d’oeuvres, (by BodoVino) beautiful art, and meet the delightful Lisa herself! See you then!

Lisa Caillet-Bois is an artist, designer and entrepreneur originally from England. Guided by a love of creativity, branding and colour, Lisa loves to make things. After earning her BA in Product and Furniture Design at Ravensbourne in London, Lisa’s first career path involved two of her passions, environmental work and the organic food industry. Spanning the course of 8 years, Lisa’s first entrepreneurial pursuit, Happy Kitchen, was a pioneering bakery, catering business, restaurant and wholesale production facility.  Based in London, Happy Kitchen supplied companies (including The Hub, Greenpeace, Action Against Hunger, Coca Cola, Whole Foods) and hundreds of shops all over Europe with handmade products. As an entrepreneur with a deep respect for the planet, she used the organization as a tool for social and environmental good in schools all over the city and in the wider London community. This drew recognition from the Mayor of London, resulting in an appointment as a 2010 London Leader, amongst many other awards. Lisa has been painting since she was a child and comes from a long lineage of artists (her father, grandfather and great grandfather were all artists). Lisa’s love of travel and the earth has allowed her the good fortune to paint some of the world’s most wild and beautiful landscapes, the core source of inspiration for her art. During travels in 2012, Lisa met her now husband, leading to a move to Venice Beach, California. Inspired by the sun, sand and surf, Lisa had the idea to reimagine her art as wearable fashion, resulting in the birth of her second entrepreneurial pursuit, ‘LCB’.

Local Author Book Signing: Megan Gregory

Free Childrens’ Event this Saturday 9/17 3:00-5:00 book reading/signing with local author Megan Gregory of her book: Little Bear’s Dreams”. Come have some snacks and enjoy this fun and free event!

Megan Gregory Bio

Megan Gregory was born and raised in Boise, Idaho having graduated from Capital High School and Boise State University.  She grew up being encouraged to pursue artistic outlets and attempted to sing in choir and even played in band for several years, but it was always writing, painting, and sketching that she enjoyed most.

After her son was born in 2014, Megan began feeling inspired again and was filled with ideas to capture the memories she and her new family were making.  And that is how Little Bear’s Dreams came to be – an idea to permanently remember some of the special moments and love that she, her husband, and their son were experiencing.
